Details:
Job Purpose:
- Gives analytical support to calculate correct orders level versus the forecasts to assure manufacturing schedules
- Assess correct safety stock values. Proposes modifications of these safety stocks (Articles criticity, manufacturing campaigns, …)
- Manages critical articles orders
- Assess incoming material needs for specific manufacturing campaigns (seasonal conditions)

Key Responsibilities:
Decisions making :
- Makes proposals and endorses decisions that concern safety stocks levels, minimum batches orders sizes, minimum orders levels
- Develop/ Support plans for work activities for the team over the short and mid-term (incoming materials)
Supply continuity Responsibilities
- Safety stocks are to be managed in order to make sure to prevent any downtime in the production (Belgian primary and secondary manufacturing performance units – more than 15 – and integration of specific worldwide manufacturing site's needs)
Financial / Costs :
- Safety stocks are to be managed in order to make sure that stocks of slow movers are reduced (working capitals, stocks volumes)
Escalation
- Escalade any supply risks to the weekly supply meetings (Supply Governance)
Standardization
- Formalize and standardize Ways of Working and Tools manual books related to the calculation and the management of the safety stocks
People :
- Support to the orders officers (MRP team). No direct people management
Compliance
- Follow procedures and guidance related to the incoming material management.
Problem solving
- Animate problem solving sessions, root causes analysis and definition of corrective and preventive actions for problems related to the incoming materials management
- Analyses solutions and proposes alternatives
- Participate and support task forces related to the incoming materials management
- Communicates and gives transversal views about incoming materials issues abroad the network (stakeholders : Warehouse, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Teams, Manufacturing Units, Global Vaccines Supply Chain)
Interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with employees peers to share best practices (training sessions) and simplify the processes
- Work with a wide range of customers
- Develops involvement and individual initiatives in the teams (no hierarchic link)

Desired profile
Basic qualifications:
- University Degree in Economics, Business Management (Supply Chain)
- Expertise in SAP, MRP tools are a plus
Preferred qualifications:
- Analytical mind, skills in statistics Fluent knowledge in French and in English
