Details:
• Define strategy implementation for the Ecommerce platform, GSKDirect, reflecting promotional and/or transactional objectives, in alignment with overall channel strategy (channel neutrality) and other existing GSK online platforms; ensure successful implementation to deliver value to customers
• Deliver against strategic plan to deliver Ecommerce trade objectives for GSKDirect, EDI and other technology requests, in alignment with Multi-Channel Marketing (MCM), Channel Operations and other internal stakeholders.
• Act as a strategist and professional advisor to the VBU Leadership and execution teams on strategic aspects of the Ecommerce and Customer Solutions activities
• Ensure strategic alignment and foster effective team work between the VBU marketing team and the execution teams (Channel Operations, Contract, Commercial Capabilities, Insights &Analytics, IT); ensure seamless alignment between Ecommerce operations and VBU management for daily brand/shipping/supply update communications to customers on GSKDirect, in real time and as needed.
• Manage relationship with external collaborators contracted to perform online and telephone customer surveys. Ensure seamless collaboration with customer facing groups directly impacted by those metrics (Inside Sales, Vaccine Service Centre, GSKDirect team).
• Enable crowd sourcing innovation opportunity with the field force through IGNITE, and ensure field recognition.
• Identify, assess, and inform the Trade Strategy Team and VBU Leadership of internal and external stakeholder/partner issues that impact the strategic implementation.
• Identify and prioritize impactful above-brand customer solutions; define project scope and manage implementation.
• Identify needs and provide direction for field training and training materials, field communications and customer resource guides where appropriate when launching new Ecommerce functionality or other customer solutions.
• Identify need for insights and performance metrics generation specific to Ecommerce and/or customer solutions, and provide direction to the Insights and Analytics team with a view on customer segmentation; incorporate insights generated through research
• Balance business impact with available resources and measure impact of solutions provided for customers. Deliver monthly performance indicators.
• Understand Customer impact and incorporate customer insights throughout Ecommerce and Customer Solutions strategic plans within VBU and establish prioritization of resource investments for GSKDirect's new functionalities and/or desired fixes.
• Identify and/or evaluate and lead implementation of innovative customer solutions leveraging new technologies, i.e., Electronic Health Records, Apps, etc.
• Gather and convey an understanding of the voice of the customer, and incorporate customer experience performance indicators within monthly performance data.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or closely related discipline
• 3 years pharmaceutical sales, marketing or related experience
• Brand management experience, including demonstration of scientific knowledge and competitive knowledge within therapeutic areas and individual assets (vaccines experience preferred but not necessary)
• Demonstrated understanding of channels, pricing and appropriate market access strategies

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in marketing or closely related discipline
• Customer-facing or e-commerce experience in a matrixed environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a willingness to challenge the status quo and take end to end ownership of proposed solutions.
• Strategy development, particularly in complex and novel environments; ability to generate multiple novel ideas, solutions and strategic options to deliver long-term benefits
• Collaboration and influencing skills in a matrixed, virtual environment; experience incorporating different perspectives across
• Experience tracking financial and tactical performance and make appropriate data-driven decisions
• Experience managing risk and making adjustments as needed, prioritizing short and long term solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
