Your Responsibilities :
Here at GSK Maidenhead we have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Manufacturing Operator to join our Flexicell team.
The GSK Consumer Healthcare manufacturing centre in Maidenhead is one of the most advanced operations of its kind in the world. Dedicated to the production of Oral Healthcare brands such as Aquafresh, Sensodyne & Macleans, producing in excess of 400,000,000 tubes of toothpaste and 18 million bottles of Mouthwash per year for consumers across Europe and the Middle East.
Your role would be as a member of the production team ensuring that all production targets are met, whilst adhering to quality, housekeeping, changeover adherence, GMP and Health & Safety standards.

What will your job include?
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Zero Accident Promotion
• Dispensing all raw materials
• Operation of a mixer and associated vessels to manufacture Sensodyne toothpaste
• Operating CIP (Clean in Place)
• Ensuring compliance with documentation standards. For example, log book completion
• Minimising waste
• Use of M-ERP & RPT Scanner (SAP)
• Cleaning of Powder & Liquid Vessels, and CIP Set Up
• Control /Storage of raw materials & use of PPTs
• Status Labelling
• Calibration/Weight checks
• Quality checks and sample testing

Please note this is a permanent role which will be based at our Consumer Healthcare site in Maidenhead, Berkshire. This is a permanent role and will be working on our Continuous / Continental shift (24/7), this is this is 8 hours (Earlies, Lates and Nights) which offers a 33% shift allowance.

Why You?
Basic qualifications:
• Demonstrable experience working as an Operator within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of a GMP environment
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
• 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
• Computer literate
Preferred qualifications:
• Awareness and experience using problem solving tools
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience of working in a FMCG manufacturing environment
