Are you looking for a highly visible procurement role that allows you to shape supplier strategy, directly influence GSK’s most critical IT investment considerations, and drive positive outcomes? If so, this role could be an ideal opportunity to explore.
As a Manager in Tech Procurement, you will be accountable for a portfolio of global sourcing initiatives. This will include executing RFIs and RFQs, negotiating various types of agreements (e.g., MSA, MSLA, MSaaS,) along with managing stakeholder and supplier relationships. In addition, you will support the creation and implementation of category strategies, management of category analytics, and monitoring of supplier performance.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…
· Independently managing a portfolio of Technology projects and stakeholders
· Planning and execution of sourcing events (e.g., RFI, RFQ) and supporting negotiation strategies
· Management of contracts across the lifecycle. More specifically, negotiation and execution of new agreements, extensions, amendments, novation’s, etc)
· Prioritizing your time and other resources across projects of varying levels of complexity and urgency
· Collaborating with colleagues and suppliers across multiple countries requiring high cultural awareness
· Independently working within defined parameters, willing to request support when needed
· Awareness and adherence to risk/ regulatory/ compliance requirements
· Researches, evaluates and selects suppliers
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 3+ years of procurement experience
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
· Created and manage sourcing activities such as end to end RFP and or RFI’s,
· Experience leading contract negotiation with preferred vendors
· 2+ years experience working with global providers of, software, and associated IT Professional services
· Proven ability to multi-task; prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time.
· Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management
· Pharmaceutical industry experience
· Global Procurement experience
· Strong Risk Management Experience
· Experience managing executive level stakeholders
· Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
