GSK’s Global Products & Technology (GP&T) provides infrastructure services (including servers & storage, Cloud services, Networking, End User services, Identity & Access Management and Help Desk desk) and Global Applications (SAP, Ariba, Workday) to support all GSK sites globally. 100k+ users, across 300+ sites.

As Senior Manager Data Lead M,A&D you will play a key delivery role and will be a member of GSK Global Products & Technology Business Unit (GP&T). The role reports directly into the Director of MA&D Data Management.

M,A&D Data Lead, Senior Manager

Key responsibilities:

·  Leads the specific deal data team to deliver all parts of an MA&D deal including: Scoping and Estimation, Discovery, Categorization and Treatment, Execute, and Closure.
·  Ensure cohesive coverage of unstructured, structured and physical records – both held by the target entity and third-party suppliers
·  Drafts the data disposition principles for the specific MA&D deal
·  Leads development of the M&A deal data disposition plan and its delivery
·  Works with the appropriate functions to brief and mobilise functional data leads
·  Works across functions to scope, identify, categorise and treat data
·  Works with technical migration teams to create and deliver migration plans for each data in scope data type/
·  Leads development of functional and end user comms and guidance to support execution of the data disposition plan
·  Provides weekly reporting to management and the IMO/SMO governance structure
·  Identifies risks and issues, and manages and escalates accordingly
·  Actively manages project controls, raising change controls where necessary
·  Works with budget holders to ensure delivery to cost

·  Leads complex projects potentially supporting multiple separate business units, customers, and stakeholders in parallel
·  Controls high levels of parallel activity with significant numbers of internal and external dependencies
·  Ensures compliance with all required regulatory, control and quality management processes
·  Leads the integration of new and highly innovative developments in a global business context, to move GSK IT into a leadership industry position on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness

·  Supports leadership address high risk, high impact situations with clear analysis, high transparency, and a sense of partnership, even if faced with significant adversity or major obstacles
·  High tenacity in resolving and removing strategic obstructions and difficulties, so as to achieve the best strategic results in a timely manner
·  Decisions have direct impact on the organization’s ability to achieve major organizational objectives or long-range goals and could jeopardize future business activity across a number of key areas in the organization if unsuccessful

Why you?

Necessary Skills:

·  MBA or BS Technical Degree in: Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related
·  Experience developing and implementing solutions across time zones
·  Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
·  Experience with cloud computing architecture and security.
·  Demonstrated impact through project delivery.
·  Ability to guide and drive change and sustainable innovations
·  Competency in overcoming barriers, and challenges in order to maintain quality, cost, and time targets
·  Experience managing million (£) operational and change budgets.
·  Strong third-party vendor management.
·  Demonstrated experience of delivering features in a truly Agile environment.
·  Excellent negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

·  Previous global function and experience in major organization are preferred. Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experiences is a plus..
