Your Responsibilities :
We are a team of IT experts, who provide excellent services for GSK sites worldwide on a daily basis. As a part of a global healthcare company, we work in a multinational environment, support around 100 000 GSK employees and over 20 000 systems in the entire company. At present, at our office in Poznan, we employ about 700 highly-skilled professionals.

DevOps Specialist will provide technical analysis and development of solutions in support of the Manufacturing processes and will manage the deployment, testing, validation, performance, operations and continuous support and improvement of all Technical, Engineering and Manufacturing applications within each Manufacturing Excellence and Quality and Lab Product team.

As DevOps Specialist you will be responsible for:

Dev Focused:

• Participates in the development and delivery of platform / product strategy
• Participates in the delivery of major platform deployments / expansion
• Participates in the development of new products / features / fixes / technical solutions
• Provision of 2nd and 3rd line support for Manufacturing Excellence Products
• Manages the interactions with innovation teams and the communication / inclusion of the sites
• Identification of opportunities to improve products, systems, interfaces, business processes and performance by effectively exploiting technology to meet business objectives.

Ops Focused:

• Manages operational issues across site
• Engages with site tiered accountability process; and participate in Tech Performance Management processes
• Provision of 1st line support for Manufacturing Excellence Products
• Management of Site product instance monitoring & backlog requests (demand profile)
• Drives service optimisation for Manufacturing products at a site level
• Management of local manufacturing / quality partnerships (own & manage elements of Risk, Quality and Compliance management)
• Identification of value and improvement opportunities (understands the products to maximise the value created through those applications for site and ensures effective use of them)
• Assists the Site Tech team with the definition and priorities of Tech Systems for the Site

• High learning agility - ability to learn and adapt to new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly
• Good knowledge and understanding of IT systems and how they apply to supported business areas.
• Knowledge of systems/software development methodologies and system architectures
• Knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, MS SQL Server Databases
• Good communications in English, sufficiency to build and maintain organizational support
• Experience in support and / or development of IT systems
• Must be able to work pro-actively with minimal supervision. Ability to plan own work to meet objectives, and to work independently.
• English language skills on a communicative level (at least level B2)
