Education required: You are regularly enrolled in a Bachelor/Master in life sciences in an Educational Establishment located in Europe.

Language requirement: French a must, English preferred

Other requirements: Knowledge of laboratory techniques and strong digital fluency

Expected start date: End Q1 / Early Q2 2024

Duration: 6 months

Work arrangements: remote work not allowed.

Requisite : The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.

Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What will you do?

· 
Assist in the evaluation of new technologies specifically within the clinical laboratory

· 
Collaborate with laboratory staff to design and execute experiments and tests to assess the performance and potential of new technologies

· 
Collect and analyze data using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and completeness of experimental results

· 
Learn and utilize automation platforms, such as robotic systems, to streamline and enhance technology evaluation processes

· 
Generate reports and presentations summarizing evaluation results and providing recommendations for further action

· 
Maintain a safe and organized working environment in accordance with clinical laboratory standards and regulations (such as Good Clinical Laboratory Practices)

What are we looking for?

· 
Strong interest in technology evaluation and innovation within the clinical laboratory setting

· 
Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment used in clinical laboratory

· 
Ability to quickly learn and utilize automation platforms, such as robotic systems

· 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions

· 
Proficiency in data analysis using appropriate tools and applications

· 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and presentation of findings

· 
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation of experimental results
