Education required: You are regularly enrolled in a Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio Engineering, Vaccinology or similar fields in an Educational Establishment located in Europe.

Language requirement: English is a must. French is an asset.

Other requirements: Knowledge of liquid chromatography techniques. Experience or knowledge with the following is a plus: lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization (DLS, zeta potential, capillary electrophoresis, quantification, etc), analytical method development.

Expected start date: January/February/March 2024

Duration: 5-6 months

Work arrangements: Remote work not allowed

Requisite : The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.

Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What will you do?

Develop and run chromatographical methods for the characterization of lipids and mRNA within vaccine formulations

· 
Support the early-stage development of a new generation of vaccines

· 
Use a variety of analytical tools to optimize formulation processes

· 
Prepare and communicate scientific data for presentations and written reports

· 
Conduct lab-based experiments in an independent manner

· 
Learn how to prioritize and manage multiple projects, goals and deadlines

· 
Work in a multi-disciplinary team
