Job description
Your Responsibilities :
This role is based in GSK Quality Road.
Key responsibilities:
• Provision of first-level support to GSK businesses in Singapore on an all day-to-day HR matters in the course of business operations
• First point of contact for queries and transactions on all routine HR matters from GSK line managers, employees and union officials.
• Escalate non-routine or complicated queries and requests from employees to the HR Generalist/Specialists for advice.
• Maintain employees' personal files and archive for easy retrieval.
• Maintain and update employee data on HRIT systems such as WorkDay, SAP, etc.
• Carry out all routine HR transactional matters according to approved policies and procedures, and within prescribed timelines. Some examples of such transactional matters include Payroll & leave administration, medical and other flexi benefit claims, , insurance claims, national service deferment requests, maternity leave arrangements, on-boarding arrangements, training support and logistics, liaison with HR vendors and service providers etc.
• Attend to queries and requests for information and data from above-country functions, and local external organizations, including compilation of statistics for government agencies (when required)
• Update of HR Knowledge Base and Employee Handbooks/Policies
• Support in HR Events and Conduct Employee Orientation / Induction Programmes
• Contribute to continuous improvement through improvement projects, work simplification etc. to achieve better efficiency.

Why You?
Basic qualifications:
• Degree in any discipline and/or Diploma in Human Resource Management with 2 years' experience
• Team-player and have experience working in teams
• High learning agility and strong adaptability skills
• Knowledge of employment act and industrial relations legislation & practices
• Proven track record in HR Operations.
• Strong HPBs – customer focus, teamwork, communications, building relationships, influencing, continuous improvement
• Strong verbal and written English
• Able to handle customer relationships with integrity and independent judgment
• Able to handle and manage projects and daily operational tasks simultaneously.
