Role 1 Details (non-personal promotion focus):
• Strategically align on the candidate Zoster vaccine and its attributes to identified marketplace needs through application of learning's from market research, data analysis, and insight generation
• In partnership with medical colleagues, develop peer to peer content to utilize at approval and at full promotional launch across multiple channels. Create a strategic plan for this content that moves with the life cycle of the plan as additional data becomes available.
• Develop implementation strategy for key levers such as multi-channel marketing and sales materials; clearly articulate strategy to matrix partners to enable effective pull – through and execution of strategy (e.g. HCP point for Trade, Channel, Advocacy)
• Lead development of and execution of the Health Information Technology (HIT) activities –to ensure that capabilities within HIT are maximized to deliver on the brand strategy and meet the business objectives
• Work effectively and collaboratively as an equal partner across a matrix marketing organization, including leading internal copy approval governance processes
• Methodically evaluate brand performance data to identify trends, triggers, and market drivers, with consideration of customer insight in order to positively impact business trajectory

Role 2 Details (personal promotion focus):
• Strategically align on the candidate Zoster vaccine and its attributes to identified marketplace needs through application of learning's from market research, data analysis, and insight generation
• Lead development of assigned professional promotional tactics – including developing project briefs to ensure that promotional materials will deliver on the brand strategy and meet the business objectives
• Create and deliver robust field engagement plans that provide clarity of direction and rationale for requested activities to ensure that customer-facing teams have information needed to effectively engage customers in compliant discussions after approval regional meetings as well as Launch Meeting for Zoster vaccine.
• Develop implementation strategy for key levers such as payer pull-through, 2-dose materials, objection handling; clearly articulate strategy to matrix partners to enable effective execution by the sales force.
• Work effectively and collaboratively as an equal partner across a matrix marketing organization, including leading internal copy approval governance processes
• Methodically evaluate brand performance data to identify trends, triggers, and market drivers, with consideration of customer insight in order to positively impact business trajectory

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
BS/BA
• 3 years marketing or other relevant commercial experience including US Pharma/Biologics/Vaccines marketing or sales
• Ability to travel as required (<25%)

Preferred qualifications:
• MBA
• 2 years in healthcare marketing
• US Vaccines marketing and/or sales experience
• Knowledge of vaccines, US market dynamics and characteristics
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare system, marketing channels and drivers
• Aptitude for acquiring the scientific knowledge
• Ability to contribute to and lead matrix teams
• Ability to conceive, develop, and execute multi-dimensional marketing and/or business plans
• Ability to develop and manage Field Communications including written, teleconference, web-ex
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships in a matrix environment
• Copy approval process experience
• Experience applying business improvement techniques to drive efficiency and improved performance
• Demonstrated analytical skills- ability to understand drivers of performance, synthesize and accurately draw conclusions from data and apply results of market research to inform decision making
• Multi-channel marketing campaign development experience
