Pathologists are integral to research and development within GSK. We rely on their expertise to help our understanding of disease biology and evaluate models of human disease. In addition, they help safeguard human health by contributing critically important information and representation on multi-disciplinary teams which assess the nonclinical safety of novel compounds as these medicines progress to patients and regulatory approval.
