This role will be available to candidates based in GSK House in Brentford, London or Poznan, Poland.

GSK is transforming its Supply Chain to align with best in class performance. To achieve this, the organisation will be required to deliver an integrated end to end Supply Chain, aligned to the business objectives.
Planning 2.0 defines a new organisational structure to streamline the current fragmented Supply Chain. This brings a new Central Planning organisation that is tailored to the business priorities set by Commercial. Changes to the job scope are required to deliver this.
The purpose of this role is to work with External Suppliers to produce a robust, 24-month plan that supports commercial demand, maintaining accurate planning parameters in the GSK systems which ensure the right information is shared with the supplier. This role in particular will partner closely with CMO's across Europe to appropriately deliver GSK's wider supply chain plan.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for a SKU subset, aligned to a manufacturing resource, or group of resources, for the full planning horizon.
• Leads the handover of the Supply Plan to Site Production execution and Scheduling.
• Manage the order book to the point of sale (ex-GSK) liaising with the Therapy SC Managers to gather regional intelligence to support decisions on supply plan priorities.
• Validate net requirements for site with the TSCMs and escalate any issues to the Global SC Planning Lead
• Provides input to build the Supply Review Meeting (SRM) as part of the Core Commercial Cycle.
• Maintain accurate supply planning parameters in the ERP system, through all supply nodes, in line with the inventory and service policies, accountable for updating the FRS. Regularly review demonstrated performance against SC design.
• Evaluate supply planning performance and trends for its SKU subset and supports the Global SC Planning Lead and investigates the root cause of issues of KPIs deviations and recommends actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provides periodic static data extraction and validation for integrity and consistency; ensures data updated in relevant supply chain systems; provides KPI measures around data integrity and accuracy.
• Provides standard reporting for therapy and dynamic reporting across categories / structures; links to site-based teams for local MRP data and BSSS teams for additional reporting / analysis.
• Execute and support inventory optimisation activities with the Global SC Planning Lead and TSCM.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:
• Required Qualifications and experience:  Demonstrated experience of supply planning in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment.
• In-depth knowledge of supply planning processes operating over 0-24 month horizon including rough cut capacity planning and inventory management.
• Highly experienced in the use of SAP for supply planning including data parameterization to drive planning outcomes.
• Demonstrable experience working with external, third party suppliers
• Experience working closely with Contract Manufacturing Organisations
• Advanced level Excel skills required
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to pull together multiple data sources to reach decisions directly impacting supply to customers
• Experience connecting and influence multiple stakeholders across various disciplines including finance, quality, technical, production & scheduling to drive performance.
• Experience of contributing to continuous improvement programmes to drive supply chain performance in the areas of service and inventory.

Preferred qualifications:
Additional or higher level qualifications are beneficial
