Would you like to be part of a world class Quality team? Would you like to develop capabilities across a variety of global business units? Would you like to be part of a highly successful team and make a difference for the future? If the answer is “yes” to these questions, then GSK could provide you with that opportunity.
GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals is one of the world's global research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Our vaccines business is one of the world's leading vaccine innovators and producers globally. We are dedicated to providing vaccines to everyone who needs them, no matter where they live.
At GSK Biologicals, we employ over 11,200 people worldwide, including more than 7,000 at our global headquarters in Belgium. Almost a quarter of our staff work in research and clinical development, inventing new and innovative vaccines against some of the world's most serious infections and diseases.
Today, more than 6,000 GSK Biologicals employees manufacture, formulate, fill, pack, control, release and deliver over 1.4 billion doses of some 30 different vaccines each year at 14 sites on 3 continents. Our production sites are multiplying across the world, and our global production network is to become the largest in the vaccines industry, with operational hubs in Europe, Asia and North America.
The benefits of working at GSK Vaccines include innovative projects, passionate people, and a truly global business atmosphere. At GSK, we provide a supportive working environment and a range of development challenges and opportunities. We also offer competitive benefits and compensation packages designed to attract and to retain the very best.
What will the program be like?
The goal of the Future Leaders Program in Vaccines Global Industrial Operations (GIO) is to recruit talented recent graduates with strong technical backgrounds, who have the potential to become future leaders in the GSK Biological organization. This 2-year rotational program consists of 3 rotations in different Global Industrial Operations (GIO) departments and sites. During your 2-year assignment, you will have one year-long rotation, and two 6-month rotations. In that time, you will spend 6 months abroad and 18 months total at our Vaccines manufacturing site in Hamilton, MT. Upon successful completion of the development program, you will be placed in a Quality position at your home site in Hamilton, MT.
The development program will include mandatory modules in departments seen as key by the leadership teams to develop a good understanding of our Vaccines business throughout the world. Trainings include a full development week at our Vaccines headquarters in Belgium at the end of each placement, and support from a career mentor who will offer guidance over the duration of the two-year program and beyond. To be part of the program, applicants must be willing to live abroad for a 6 month period, but need to be aware that the short-term assignment policy will not provide any financial support to partners/families.
We are looking for candidates who can make outstanding long-term contributions to our organization. The ideal candidates are driven, curious, and can easily build relationships with others, adapt to different situations and environments, learn quickly, and act proactively. We are looking for candidates who are results-oriented, driven by challenges and, most importantly, share GSK Values and Behaviors.
