You will be part of GSK Commercial Pharmaceuticals Bussiness. Commercial Management in Pharmaceuticals is about bringing medicines to market that save lives and tackle chronic illnesses.

Our Commercial Management graduate pathway will stimulate your early career development through broad-ranging experiences. Your development will come through challenging job rotations, supported by formal learning and coaching. You'll have the benefit of improving your commercial management skills while gaining valuable leadership training in the pharmaceutical industry.

Your Programme will consist of 3 rotations in our organization. Each rotation lasts for 1 year. The programme lenght is 3 years in total.

1st rotation in Customer Facing Role

2nd rotation in Marketing

3rd rotation based on employee potential assessment, ussually in abroad

What's it all about?
Commercial is all about taking to market products that save lives, tackle chronic illnesses, or address everyday healthcare issues. Our commercially astute sales and marketing teams are responsible for understanding our patients, consumers and customers, then developing and implementing strategies so more people can do more, feel better and live longer.

What do I need to succeed?
A variety of degrees can be successful – from business to science, but you'll need ambition, commercial awareness and a self-motivated, proactive approach. We're looking for clear, effective communicators who can quickly build a rapport with a wide range of people. It's also important that you can adapt to change and keep focused when the pressure is on. Whilst possessing the drive and confidence to trust your own judgement, you're a real team player who actively collaborates with others. In addition, you'll need an analytical mind, a talent for multi-tasking and the ability to influence others.

What will I learn?
From the start, your job rotations will provide a high level of responsibility and a breadth of experience across the core areas of our commercial business. You'll quickly develop the foundation skills, knowledge and experience that a future leader would need to know through graduate-specific leadership training. Specifically, we'll help you build skills in marketing, sales, and project and customer management.

We will give you a breadth of experience across the key areas of our Commercial business, including Marketing, Sales and Customer Management. Challenging rotations from the start will help you to deliver the standards of commercial excellence in line with a future leadership role.

Where can I work?
In Pharmaceuticals, our Commercial Management career path is available in all of our 5 cluster countries - Slovakia, Czech Republik, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
Education background in Life Sciences e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commeriacl Management, Economics

No more than 1 year post graduate work experience

Location mobility is required and must be able to travel

Driving licence

Preferred qualifications:
Academic excellence with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership ability and initiative.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
