Your Responsibilities : This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

Support the Close and Controls team. Approve reconciliations and manual postings. Additionally, review monthly expenses allocated to cost centers. Review SOX Controls.

Serve the accounting team, manager, internal and external customers, supporting them in the resolution of issues and delivery of reports.

Key Responsabilities:

·  Deep knowledge in accounting processes.
·  Deep analysis capability related to the balance sheet accounts.
·  Ensure correct balance position of the balance sheet accounts.
·  Ensure balance sheet accounts healthiness in the region assigned.
·  Follow up pending Category II, III and IV with analysts and internal clients.
·  Approve the accounting entries in Cadency.
·  Ensure compliance with audit requirements deadlines.
·  Review and approve the accounting and management reports.
·  Review / perform SOX and IBM controls.
·  Calculate / Review or approve accrual provisions.
·  Support the stakeholders with ad hoc requirements.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

·  Accounting, Finance, or related degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
·  Experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm.
·  Experience working in a Control / SOX environment.
·  Knowledge in consolidation tools (Bison, Hyperion)
·  English fluency (oral and writing) (B2+ Level)

Preferred Qualifications:

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

·  Intermediate Portuguese level (B1)
·  Proficient MS Excel skills.
·  Previous experience of ERP systems.
·  Experience of working in a Shared Service Environment and / or experience of managing of BPO for a sizeable company.
