The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for leading the Sales Operations department and will oversee key areas such as incentive compensation, activity dashboards, field force mapping and alignments, targeting and segmentation and management reporting. The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for providing strategic insight to both the field force and the leadership team specific to the business KPI’s. The position will work collaboratively with business unit and enterprise stakeholders to ensure synergy across processes and analysis. Your team will generate analyses and actionable recommendations to influence key decisions related to the sales force including the execution and measurable business results. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

·  Lead and inspire an analytics team to develop and deliver analyses, derive customer, competitor and performance insights and develop actionable recommendations.
·  Proactively identify key opportunities to drive performance. Effectively work across boundaries to communicate customer and business insights, influence decision-making, and drive action to achieve business results.
·  Create and foster strong strategic partnerships with sales leaders, Business Unit leaders and senior leaders.  Proactively challenge current thinking and make recommendations based on insights from data. 
·  Provides strategic and tactical support to sales management and the senior leadership team on sales execution
·  Provide guidance and collaborate with Advanced Analytics team to provide optimal POA, allocation of resources at the national and regional level.
·  Leads team and partners with Marketing and Payer Analytics to share insights, translate brand level targeting and segmentation for optimal call planning and analytics to support all levels.
·  Provide strategic oversight for vacancy impact analyses on a regular basis and deliver recommendations on optimal coverage. 
·  Manage KPI development, assessment, monitoring and diagnosis for sales leadership team and drive team to action based on insights. 
·  Engages leadership to understand customer orientation, competitive activity, and regional environmental trends on the business and provides guidance and insight based on analytics.  
·  Ensures collaborative team dynamic across operations team and into other functions.
·  Ensure team stays up to date on customer research, competitor trends, market dynamics and bringing external lens in to GSK in the form of recommendations and to guide senior level decision making.
·  Recruit, hire and develop exceptional people to achieve objectives.  Cultivate professional growth through performance reviews, development plans, and coaching. 

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

·  Bachelor’s Degree.
·  At least 5+ years of Sales or Marketing experience.
·  Minimum 3+ years people leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

·  3-5 years or Commercial Operations experience
·  Strong Problem-solving skills.
·  High Learning agility
·  Excellent project management skills
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to work cross functionally and gain results through others
·  Ability to interact with senior leaders.
·  Experience creating process to facilitate innovation, idea sharing, and simplification.
