About the Role

As Director of Innovation, your task is to leverage the full spectrum of cutting-edge technology to inspire and manage groundbreaking projects. While Generative AI holds a significant place in our innovation portfolio, your role involves embracing a variety of technological advances. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

·  Lead cross-functional teams in transforming nascent ideas into proofs-of-concept (PoCs), proofs-of-value (PoVs), and minimum viable products (MVPs).
·  Drive the management and realization of innovative projects across the organization, fostering an environment where great ideas can turn into impactful business solutions.
·  Utilize and explore our extensive technology stack, including Azure, Azure OpenAI, Python, Langchain, Node.js, and DevSecOps, to drive innovation across the enterprise.
·  Cultivate a culture of curiosity and boldness, regularly communicating progress and fostering a collaborative spirit that encourages risk-taking and out-of-the-box thinking.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

·  At least 5 years of experience in delivering new products and solutions.
·  Bachelors degree and 8+ years or more of Technology experience.
·  At least 3 years of experience managing a team of 4 or more software engineers.
·  Innovation Management experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Expertise in navigating large enterprises, particularly within the BioPharma industry, recognizing the challenges of innovation in a regulated space.
·  A track record of working in matrix organizations, adept at influencing peers and colleagues, including those not in direct supervisory lines.
·  Proficiency with Azure platforms, tools, and services, paired with a robust understanding of Software Engineering and System Design principles specific to Generative AI applications.
·  Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills capable of inspiring and steering cross-functional teams.
·  Ability to convey intricate concepts to a broad audience and forge sustained partnerships with internal and external collaborators.
·  Ready to adapt and successfully navigate the ever-evolving and dynamic technological landscape.
