This role represents an exciting opportunity to work in a group that manages a process that physically touches every product GSK makes and every patient/consumer GSK serves. Pack Artwork Shared Service (PASS) is part of GSK's Global Manufacturing & Supply Global Logistics group. PASS is now in the final stages of 3 year transformation project that will result in a step change for how GSK manages its artwork and packaging. The role will work closely with leads in PASS Service Management and Delivery as a partner in identifying areas for improvement. This role will also represent PASS to IT support functions and will be a staunch guardian of GSK's artwork/packaging data model. This role will be accountable for reporting KPIs on all aspects of APSC performance and data integrity. We require a technically capable, curious and energetic individual to work with multiple stakeholders within PASS and across APSC functions (Regulatory, Packaging, Procurement, and more) in Pharma, Vaccines and Consumer Health business units around the world. This person will naturally support data evaluation, continuous improvement and other ad hoc data investigatory analysis. Our stakeholders data and reporting needs must be met while adhering to global standards and processes designed to create a complaint, effective and efficient APSC.

The role

The successful applicant will support the introduction of new technology and processes, ensuring the effective provision of reports , data and information to stakeholders across the artwork and packaging supply chain and its governance mechanisms in order to enable accurate decision making and continuous improvement in performance. As part of this you will be responsible for the monitoring and checking of the consistency and integrity of data in the artwork and packaging supply chain systems in order to ensure that it is fit for purpose for all users.

Key accountabilities;
• Monitor & maintain & ensure complete data accuracy of all critical data fields
• Design and implement specific reporting on operational data for the artwork and packaging supply chain(APSC) using Qlik alongside other available tools
• Design, create and maintain SLA / KPI reporting for artwork and packaging supply chain governance.
• Support in the design, implementation and management of PASS and local S&OP (format for data collection, standardization). 

• Develops repository of pack change data across the APSC to include Pharmaceuticals, Consumer, Vaccines and Third Party Customers and Suppliers 

• Manages relationships with data owners and develops processes to update and ensure quality / accuracy of the data. 

• Works closely with the APSC leadership team and finance personnel to provide on request appropriate specific data to support business proposals, strategic evaluation of risks and opportunities to enable constructive discussion with Customers and to improve overall GSK performance.
• Supports in identification of improvement opportunities, data evaluation & analysis and development of business cases.
• Maintains repository of knowledge for Artwork, set baselines for data analysis and make decisions on how to use and communication accuracy of that data.
• Perform Development, Testing, and Implementation of the APSC Database and System changes
• Ensure that data set-up processes follow GMP compliance processes and procedures to ensure APSC meets all relevant audit control requirements.
• Drive data improvement and maintenance processes to stabilize data provision and quality systems integrity and the daily operational processes used by stakeholders in the APSC.
• Identify savings goals and support the actualizing of those benefits by the business
• Root cause and address data issues to improve report functionality and accuracy of decision making tools and systems across APS
• Support the improvement in APSC capability by providing data and information to build education, embed continuous improvement behaviors and methodologies
• Support audits if required and subsequent CAPAs across APSC
• Support identification of cost savings opportunities and drive own or delegated initiatives to completion

What are the pay & benefits?

PAY - We will reward your contributions to GSKs success through your salary, bonus or sales incentives, and recognition awards.
Competitive Base Salary – Your salary is paid monthly on the 20th day of the month (or nearest business day) It is reviewed each year to ensure it stays competitive and reflects your performance and contribution to GSK's strategy.
Annual Target Bonus – Your individual performance is worth 60% if your total bonus and is based on the achievement of your personal objectives. The high level results of your business area is worth 40% of your total bonus.

Share Reward – Share reward allows you to invest up to 5% (maximum of £125)of your salary each month in GSK shares and receive a free share for every share you buy.

GSK Pension Plan – You automatically become a member of the GSK pension plan when you join GSK. An account is opened in your name and GSK contributes a core amount of 7% of your pensionable salary into your account each month. You are also required to make a contribution of 2%, GSK will match any contributions you make up to a maximum of 3% of your pensionable salary (total contributions up to 15%)
