Details:
The Sales Specialist will sell Cardiovascular Metabolic Specialty Products.
Develop local business plan to increase market volume by outlining strategic tactics, activities, and resources
Utilize customer & competition focused selling techniques to continually assess the customer knowledge.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of GSK products, competitor products, and promotional strategies and objectives
Develop creative sales strategies to reach "hard to see " Specialists, to positively impact sales in the territory
Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based upon customer needs
Work collectively with other representatives in arranging speakers, displays, and special programs
Maintain current, approved protocol, promotional materials to be included in sales presentations

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
4 year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
Valid drivers license
Ability to travel domestically as needed
Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience
Must be able and willing to drive or operate a vehicle – driving is an essential function of this role

Preferred qualifications:
Candidate should reside KC metro area and will cover Western side of Missouri.

2 years plus, pharmaceutical sales experience
Work in a matrix environment/ability to assimilate multiple resources to meet customer needs and deliver results.
Experience in developing and sustaining a customer base and influencing a customer group. .
Ability to comprehend complex products of a scientific nature, as well as mastering technical knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and support customers throughout the selling process.
Excellent communication, interpersonal influencing and leadership skills
Documented success in scientific and technical sales environments
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and embrace new ways of working in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to support and contribute to a values based organization focused on addressing the needs of customers and patients in a healthcare environment.
