Job description
Your Responsibilities :
As a core member of the commercial pharmacy team, you will contribute to develop and deliver our GSK category strategy for all categories and channels based on shopper insights, category management and trade landscape understanding, to ensure achievement of sales and profit targets
• Category Management
• Based on your understanding of shopper behavior and shopping attitudes towards the retail channels, you will align strategies with key retailers ensuring a win-win solution. You will develop and integrate retailer, consumer, shopper and category data into a selling story to produce profitable business results.
• You will advise with your category knowledge. You will lead discussions with key customers on their category strategy, drive change and significantly improve shopper engagement at the point of purchase.
• Commercial Strategy and sales effectiveness
• You will work with the sales team to translate brand plans, retail knowledge, shopper and customer insights into commercial plans at channel level to drive sales within given financial parameters.
• You will translate data into insights for the different channels by analyzing all relevant information (Performance KPI's, Distribution, Stocks, Sell in, Sell out).
• Sales team capabilities enhancement and excellence in execution
• You will ensure the excellence in execution of shopper executions through effective monitoring (main KPI's: Share of Promo, Share of Shelf, Share of Display…).
• You will drive sales team culture and capabilities of in-depth customer understanding leading to excellence in execution, including NPD launches and launch preparation. This includes training development and implementation.

Why You?
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or in Management/communication with experience within Pharma
- Experience of 3-4 years working in a commercial organization
- Good knowledge of English
Preferred qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills with focus on execution excellence
• Strategic thinking in combination with business understanding and sound judgement
• Good project management skills
• Experience of working with a Sales Force Automation tool is a plus
• Enjoy working independently and convince with your strong teamwork and cooperation skills
• Knowledge/awareness of the Belgian commercial environment specifically in OTC/Pharmacy
• Dutch or French speaking is a plus
