Business Analysis Manager

As Business Analysis Manager you will be responsible for supporting the business to make the most informed and strategic decisions by leveraging insights and analysis gathered from a variety of sources, including primary and secondary data, internal databases, and competitive intelligence.  As a critical partner for the business and a core member of the brand teams, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities, whilst raising challenges to ensure commercial strategy delivers optimal returns to the business. You will use your experience to generate insights to support decision making and contribute to the success of GSK Norway. Additionally, you will be able to leverage your knowledge of new technologies (e.g. AI) to drive the business to achieve greater efficiency and decision making.

In this role you will…

·  Support the business to make the best, informed, strategic and tactical decisions by drawing on market research, expert resources and high levels of analytical skill and commercial judgment
·  Extract, collate and organise data for analysis; using a variety of machine learning and statistical analytical techniques to gain insight into our data
·  Partner with stakeholders across the business to bring a clear view of business performance including identification and tracking of key performance indicators and using the results to raise questions and support or challenge strategy
·  Be the point of contact for market research. Ensuring market research is conducted within the appropriate internal and external guidelines.
·  Synthesise insights to deliver analysis and recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs and the leadership team inform account planning and business decisions
·  Project managing the planning, design and implementation for insights and analytics projects to ensure all appropriate stakeholder engagement has been considered and governance procedures have been followed
·  Leading the usage and implementation of new technologies in the market’s ways of working
·  Business partnering the review of business performance, working to bring a clear view of critical indicators and using the results to raise questions and support or challenge strategy
·  Supporting the planning process through the development and implementation of forecast models for each Business Unit, based on market data and integrating assumptions aligned with the Business Unit Head and Finance team

Why you?  

Qualifications & Skills:

·  University degree in Business, Science or another relevant subject
·  Previous experience in a similar position, and/or experience in Finance
·  Previous experience with commissioning and managing market research, a good understanding of the different types of research and how it should be used within the commercial context
·  Skilled in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint, and ideally knowledge in statistical/machine learning software such as IBM SPSS, R or Python
·  Knowledge of new technologies (e.g. AI)
·  Experience with analytics (clustering, segmentation, forecasting)
·  Experience with modelling and patient-based forecasting

Preferred:

·  English language, speaking and writing
·  Project management skills- driving decision making in cross functional teams/matrix teams and Influencing stakeholders
·  A passion for technology, digital & data and the value that it brings
·  Excellent commercial judgment and continuous improvement mindset
·  Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively present data/insights to tell a story
·  Commercial experience (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Market Access)
·  Experience with Oncology, Specialty and/or Vaccines market
