Are you looking for an opportunity to support the life-cycle design, installation, qualification, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of packaging and manufacturing equipment? If so, this is the role for you.
As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for providing systems and network administration support within in a cGMP regulated Vaccines manufacturing facility. Included are all operational technology (OT) and process networks and servers. This position will evaluate and develop technology, plan and implement modifications and upgrades to the OT network architecture and related control systems, while providing daily administration and technical support in these areas.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
· Work closely with Marietta OT Champion for direction and prioritization as well as presenting ideas on how to make Automation networks and servers on site more secure and/or reliable.
· Provide daily operational support of OT network and related systems; troubleshoot and correct issues.
· Interface with OT functions in central engineering and peer sites for assistance troubleshooting and best praticies.
· Support OT requests for the rest of the Automation Department including network patching and jack activation, VLAN requests, and firewall rule requests.
· Manage local Automation networks and servers. Reposibile for maintaining equipment including network switches and servers
· Stay current with industry developments and trends; aspects include systems and networking technology/design, account administration, data integrity, disaster recovery, and cyber security.
· Draft and execute change control plans and work orders for activities.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Computer & Network Systems Administration or Equivalent associates degree
·
Minimum of 2 years of experience with networks and networked systems in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
· Experience with the maintenance and optimization of networks in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing enviornment.
· Experience working in a regulated, change management environment.
· Experience administrating accounts within a domain environment.
· Experience performing network and system upgrades – software, patching, hardware, build outs, firmware, etc.
· Experience building physical and virtual servers.
· Knowledge in firewall management, OT/IT integration and cyber security standards.
· Knowledge in current standards for computer system validation.
· Demonstrated ability to interact well with peers, subordinates, and senior personnel in multidisciplinary teams involving engineering and Information Technology group
