Information on AnT

AnT is an initiative jointly supported by Workforce Singapore (WSG) and 2 tertiary institutions Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and is aimed at building a pipeline of skilled manpower for Singapore's Biologics manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand. Participants of the AnT programme for Biologics Manufacturing are not employees of the companies but will be provided with training and work attachments in top Biologics manufacturing companies in advance of job placement.

In our collaboration with TP on this upcoming AnT intake, trainee will undergo a 3-month structured facilitated training conducted by TP, followed by 18 months of local attachment with GSK Vaccines.

The training duration will take 21 months and competent candidates will receive a WSQ Higher Certificate in Process Technology (Biologics Manufacturing) awarded by SSG.

Funding Support: Candidates under AnT will be supported with course fee funding and training allowances for the training duration.

Bond: Candidates are NOT required to serve bond upon completion of programme.

Training Allowances does not attract CPF contribution.

Candidates will assume different positions that commensurate with their qualification and working experience in GSK.

# QC Associate (Biologicals)
You will be able to:
• Perform routine (ELISA, Endotoxin, Sterility, Bioburden and SDS- PAGE) testing according to GMP requirements
• Participate in laboratory investigation and assist in the closure of investigation and Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA) and more

Basic role requirement:
• Basic laboratory knowledge and hands-on experience (preferably with biological testing)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good writing skills
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office

# QC Associate (Chemistry)
You will be able to:
• Perform routine and adhoc testing for raw materials, intermediates/products and utilities according to GMP requirements
• Performs equipment calibration, maintenance and method verification and method validation/transfer as assigned
• Participate in laboratory investigation and assist in the closure of investigation and Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Performs peer review for verification of task and data and assists in SOPs writing

Basic role requirement:
• Basic laboratory knowledge and hands-on experience in chemistry testing (advantage)
• Effective report writing skills (preferably with “legible” handwriting)
• Knowledge of cGLP & cGMP (advantage)
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Effective team player

# Technical Services Technician (Utilities)
You will be able to:
• Support the engineers in the operations and maintenance of utility systems to provide the required level of availability as well as ensuring the systems performance comply with cGMP, EHS and GEP requirements.

# Technical Services Technician (Maintenance)
You will be able to:
• To calibrate, maintain and repair all process and utility instrument to maximize plant availability at all times.
• Maintain all equipment in the best operating condition and minimize equipment breakdown within the framework of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Security, Environment, Health and Safety (SEHS).

• Fulfilled national service obligation (For male applicants only)
• New entrants to biopharmaceutical industry and should not be holding a bond obligation with any organization
