The Pack Artwork Shared Service (PASS) is a function in the GSK Supply Chain, providing service management and delivery of packaging artwork for our products across Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare operations.

The Artwork Supply Planner Role is part of the Team in based in Barnard Castle Regional Service Centre, in the heart of County Durham, where we provide artwork services to the global GSK Consumer Health (CH) supply chain.

The Role of Artwork Supply Planner is Key to the successful delivery of Packaging for the GSK CH FMCG Supply Chain, Interacting with markets and sites across the Globe to ensure accurate Forecasting, Demand and planning activity for delivery of Artwork, Drawings and Specifications.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities of the Artwork Supply Planner:

• Accountable for customer relationships and workload management for multiple market/site pack launch and change controllers and other change request initiators
• Responsible for aggregating demand from Artwork Hubs and translating this into supply plans. Typically manages a short term to twelve month horizon
• Provides leadership to other participants in the artwork and packaging supply chain in appropriate and best practice in project managing new pack introductions and changes.
• Ensures any addition or change to the company's pack portfolio follows the approved processes and Standard Operating procedures.
• Gives guidance to other participants in the artwork and packaging supply chain on what are acceptable standards, and knows when and how to raise questions on compliance issues.
• Co ordinates accurate and effective prioritisation and processing of new pack creations, and project manages pack changes through the execution process to meet customer requirements for delivery of new and changed packs into the supply network.
• Prioritises a high volume workload to a consistently high standard.
• Executes continuous improvement projects as required to improve any aspect of service delivery to the client group or across the whole artwork and packaging supply chain
• Responsible for agreeing and maintaining a realistic supply plan with the client group for which they hold the portfolio.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in the following:-
• Prior experience of at least two years in pack change or equivalent logistics processes
• Prior experience in production or logistics planning
• Prior experience of customer relationship management
• Prior experience of MRP and / or workflow/document management systems.
