A strategy and planning team that leads and manages the innovation portfolio. A multidisciplinary innovation HUB that leads breakthrough innovation projects close to Groupe SEB's main markets. Centers of Excellence: consumer insights, intellectual property, electronics and power, materials, coatings, food sciences, and engineering.

"The Ecully Innovation Hub team actively participates in the development of Groupe SEB by creating innovative products and services, growth drivers for the group in new categories and new territories. Thanks to our multidisciplinary team (Design, Marketing, Digital, lab, Project Managers ...), we generate these breakthrough innovation concepts that meet the needs of our consumers based on robust insights, integrating the most relevant technological building blocks".
Contribute to our development:
You know Groupe SEB through brand sites and our products, and you want to participate in the group's innovation approach. Integrated into the Innovation Hub team and within a project management team, your mission is to manage breakthrough innovation projects on the strategic axes defined by the group (in particular the universe of Cooking, Home Care, or Personal Care).
You ensure the transversal management of the project team, communication, and reporting associated with it within the structure.
You report to the Group Innovation Manager and as such, you are responsible for:
- Coordinating (in connection with the Strategy teams and centers of excellence) the exploratory phases of our projects until the validation of strong consumer insights and the realization of technological and competitive ecosystems impacting the project.
- Managing the ideation phase from the generation of breakthrough concepts responding to the insight, to the finalization of the "score card" guaranteeing the viability of the concept (perceived values, business potential, technical feasibility).
- Leading transversal projects integrating BU, Technical, consulting interlocutors, etc. if necessary.
- Ensuring the proper execution of the project (planning, resource allocation, respect of priorities, alert in case of deviations/hard points/blockage, project and budget reporting).
- Functionally managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Involving external partners if necessary to enhance the skills of the entire project team.
- Organizing all documentation.
Desired profile
Bring your skills:
- With a higher education background such as an Engineering School or university education, you have a global experience in development, innovation of at least 7 years (including ideally successful collaborations with startups) as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing complex projects in agile mode.
- With synthesis capacity and a sense of priorities, you know how to concretize ideas to bring them to fruition in innovation projects.
- Solution-oriented, you know how to think outside the box to bring a fresh perspective and propose innovative options in your projects.
- You have strong creativity and initiative skills and know how to investigate new ideas.
- You know how to implement the necessary means (material, human, internal or external...) to bring your project to fruition.
- Curiosity, reliability, organization, and the ability to convince and engage the project team will be key to successfully carrying out your missions.
- Proficiency in professional French and English is essential for this position, given its context
