Join our Team:
As Category Manager, your primary mission is to drive growth and market leadership within the mass market channel in Greater Europe. You will develop, support and explain category strategies to the different markets to enhance market share, optimize product positioning, and align with consumer needs, ensuring sustainable growth for Groupe SEB in the competitive landscape of small household equipment.
What we will achieve together:
- Define a strategic development roadmap for both countries and categories in close collaboration with internal stakeholders (markets, BUs…).
- Category Strategy Development: Support implementation of category-specific strategies that align with both company goals (BU Category Strategy) and market demands, ensuring product offerings meet consumer expectations in the mass market.
- Product & Portfolio Management: Oversee product lifecycle management, including launch, pricing, and portfolio optimization, to maximize profitability and market share.
- Channel Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored strategies that strengthen Groupe SEB's presence in the mass market channel and send the needs back to the BUs.
- Market & Shopper Insights: Leverage shopper insights and market trends to recommend innovative solutions and guide product development, ensuring Groupe SEB stays ahead of shopper expectations.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Greater Europe teams (Commercial, Specialist, e-Commerce) to ensure alignment and successful category initiatives as well as BUs (CMI).
- Animate the best practices in term of category management from different markets to give feedback to the BUs and develop Category Management capabilities across Greater Europe.
Desired profile
Bring your skills :
- Master's degree in marketing, Business Administration (or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, marketing, or related roles in the consumer goods or small household equipment sector
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
- Expertise in shopper behaviour and mass market trends
- Ability to drive change and work transversally
- Excellent communication skills, diplomacy and leadership
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
