POSITION SUMMARY
Utilizing WCM principles and practices the Regional World Class Champion drives overall deployment of World Class Manufacturing to both US and Canadian plants as well as the advancement of the NA Cost Reduction pillar. The position ensures rapid pace of implementation without compromising the quality of WCM standards. This is a key developmental role in succession planning for plant manager roles with in the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Provide demonstrable leadership of the WCM program in our North American plants to ensure WCM is implemented at a rapid pace without compromising the quality of WCM Standards

As a WCM Subject Matter Expert, provide support and advice to plant management teams to help them identify, analyze, and solve operational problems
·
Proactively identify and enable sharing of WCM best practices delivering rapid deployment of improvements
·
Coordinate, develop, review, and conduct training for employees in the WCM approach, tools, and techniques and ensure effective deployment at the local plant and corporate levels
·
Play a lead role in conducting WCM technical/business reviews assisting the plants to deliver their annual business plans
·
Collect, collate and analyze data to chart progress of plants within the specified region against the World Class Manufacturing plan, recommending countermeasures to overcome adverse variances. Provide follow up to such recommendations
·
Ensure communications are fully deployed and answers to questions/points of clarification are answered in a timely manner to deliver the required understanding and commitment to WCM
·
Track key performance indicators (KPI’s) relative to the WCM program across the region and report cumulative progress to the local Management Team and North American WCM Champion
·
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to the overall strategic direction of the North American WCM program
·
As NA Cost Reduction Pillar Champion ensure:

Overall GXO data integrity and resulting stratification
·
Use of data to drive the continuous improvement effort forward at the local level
·
Formalize tie to plant cost deployment model
·
Aid in the optimization and use of GXO from both a user interface and systems use standpoint
·
