Regional Sales Manager – Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK & Ireland
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Upstream Sales Team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK & Ireland’s strategy, with particular regard to product mix, pricing and margin objectives and will be a key member of the Sales & Marketing Team.
What will I be doing in the role?
In the role as Regional Sales Manager you will;
· Manage the everyday service needs of our customers within a given territory, with the aim of achieving budgeted volumes, prices and margins, whilst helping to maintain overall customer satisfaction
· Have extensive knowledge of Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK & Ireland’s product range and benefits in comparison to competitor products
· Be responsible for the selling of Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK & Ireland’s product range in terms of technical performance and commercial interest
· Keep the Sales & Marketing Team aware of changes in the market place that could affect Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK & Ireland and its products
· Work closely with the Technical Specification Team to manage our project pipeline and convert specifications to sales
· Negotiate deals with existing and new customers
Am I who you are looking for?
For the Regional Sales Manager role it is important that you have:
· A degree level of education or the equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Strong planning and organisational skills
· The ability to work on your own initiative
· A basic understanding of technical concepts
· Excellent attention to detail

Salary – Up to 40k dependent on skills and experience (plus bonus).
Pension – We offer a competitive pension through Standard Life, if you contribute a minimum of 4% the Company will contribute 6%. In addition all employees receive Life Assurance cover.
