JOB EXPECTATIONS:

1.

Perform all duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or other authority.  Report any problems associated with the machines.

2.

Housekeeping duties:

a.

Wipe down the control cabinets, press and roll former.

b.

Put back all the tools and bottles to designated area

c.

Keep the floor and working area clean

d.

Make sure all the waste metal is secure in the waste container.

3.

Monitor quality at all times.

4.

Notify Production Supervisor and/or other authorities whenever changes occur in the product.

5.

Downtime responsibilities:

a.

Check with Lead Operator if assistance is needed with repairs of the machine

 

b.

Clean work area

 

c.

Fold carton boxes and cut kraft paper

 

d.

Assist with other manufacturing lines when requested

6.

Do not leave your job position until you are relieved by another associate. If there is no one to relieve you, stay on the job and notify the Lead Operator or Production Supervisor on duty.

7.

Offer any suggestions you may have that will improve safety, reduce time and/or costs, and improve quality.

8.

Perform light maintenance and lubrication of equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.

Be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance with 45 repetitions per hour, more than 50 pounds with assistance

2.

Be able to bend and squat

3.

Be able to stand, shift and walk for 10 hour shift (possibly longer if overtime is required)

4.

Be able to package 11,000 - 15,000 pieces of material per 10 hour shift - Involves hand, elbow and shoulder

manipulation

EXPERIENCE:

1.

Prior manufacturing experience required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1.

High School Diploma/GED

2.

18 Years of age or older

3.

Candidate cannot have family members currently working for CertainTeed - Bradenton location
