Branch Assistant - Graham the Plumbers Merchants - Chelmsford

Backed by a well-respected organisation, working as a Customer Showroom Assistant for one of the largest Building Merchants in the UK you’ll build strong relationships with staff and customers as you ensure sales and productivity targets are met and the highest standards of service are upheld.

You’ll be driving our sales on the shop floor alongside an established and close working team who like to work hard but also have fun! What will I be doing in the role?

· 
Be involved in the running of an increasingly busy branch. This position is extremely varied and will cover sales, administration and manual handling duties.

· 
You will communicate with customers both face to face and over the phone handling various queries and taking orders.

· 
You will be picking goods for customers, organising deliveries and unloading good from suppliers.

What we look for in a Showroom Consultant

· 
Take pride in delivering excellent customer service and building relationships with internal and external customers.

· 
Have excellent communication skills

· 
Have the ability to work to deadlines and without close supervision

· 
Have a great level of negotiation skills with internal and external customers

· 
Having a forklift license would be an advantage however full training will be provided
