We are looking for a Senior Consumer and Market Insights Manager . You will work on the global brand strategy for L’Occitane en Provence and help the company make strategic choices across the portfolio. The role is reporting to the Global Consumer & Market Insights Director.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

Global Brand L’Occitane en Provence : 

 

· 
Help drive strategic decisions at HQ and in key markets, based on global consumer insights, that will drive total brand health and desirability in the long term

· 
Provide a holistic view of global prestige retail beauty in terms of category trends, consumer expectations, competitive benchmarks

· 
Master the customer journey and support cross-functional teams in maximizing their business impact across omnichannel touchpoints and customer lifecycle, ensuring that the brand experience matches the standards of prestige and is rooted in consumer needs at key points of contact in the marketing funnel

· 
Proactively scout, assess, and suggest market research techniques and tools that address business needs and drive consumer-centric decision-making across the organization by enabling the CMI team to operate as a centre of excellence for the whole organisation, and become a strategic partner for the Marketing, Communication, R&D and amongst others.

· 
Ensure data excellency within the organization (capability building, data reliability, data accessibility)

HOW YOU CAN FIT :

· 
At least 7-10 years of consumer insights experience, preferably in the beauty industry and preferably in a regional or global role

· 
At least 2-3 years experience in the luxury sector: beauty, fashion, jewellery, hospitality, etc.

· 
Proficiency in all key aspects of brand building excellence, understanding of mental & physical availability drivers, insight generation

· 
Experience in leading qualitative and quantitative market research projects end-to-end, from design to activation of learnings

· 
Strong skills on data analysis and statistics, ability to draw out insights from research and turn complex data into actionable recommendations

· 
Experience in shopper insights, shopper psychology & behaviour across omnichannel touchpoints

· 
Strategic thinker with a proven track record translating insights into business growth

· 
Well-balanced mindset between analytical skills and story-telling capabilities

· 
High level of maturity, excellent communication and influencing skills across organizational levels

· 
Problem-solving attitude and can do working approach

· 
Fluency in English; a good French base is an advantage

· 
Strong team spirit and ability to interact constructively with people at all levels and from diverse cultures
