Position: Warehouse Person
Department: Technical
Reports: Warehouse Manager
Role Mission: The warehouse person will provide efficient, consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience, and Diagnostic commercial divisions.
Key Responsibilities :
· To ensure that all pharmaceutical work done meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
· To receive and check goods inwards, correctly store, accurately process and despatch all product categories.
· To process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion.
· To be available for any out of hours working/call out.
· Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
· To understand and follow the principles of the company’s Business Management and Business Continuity Management Systems.
· To ensure in the absence of the Warehouse Manager that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state and in accordance with the GDP.
· To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Knowledge and/or experience of working within a warehouse environment (essential)
· Fork-lift truck driving experience (essential)
· Understanding of GDP (essential)
· IT literate, to include a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (essential)
· Understanding of warehouse Health & Safety principles (essential)
· Basic understanding and working knowledge of company products (essential)

· Good standard of education
