The Role

You will assist in the maintenance of the plant for maximum effectiveness.
In particular, emphasis on safety, output, quality and cost is required by
utilising the Greif Production System. You will work within the
manufacturing parameters of Preventative Maintenance, monitoring processes
and equipment, reporting variances and taking corrective, and remedial
action when necessary. You will identity potential improvement to achieve
enhanced customer service, and ensure that projects achieve agreed
objectives.

MAIN DUTIES

Control, operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to a high
standard of performance.

Establish and work to manufacturing standards and process parameters.

Ensure that high quality output is achieved, stopping the process when
necessary to achieve the desired quality levels.

Work within the manufacturing disciplines of the Greif Production
System and Preventative Maintenance to ensure a high degree of organisation
and flexibility.

Monitor processes and equipment, report variances and take corrective
and remedial action when necessary.

Communicate systems, machinery or process malfunctions as appropriate.

Assist in the training of others to encompass machine operation and
maintenance.

Experience of modern manufacturing techniques.

You are able to demonstrate a high level of ability and knowledge of 3
phase, 415V AC through to 24V DC control systems, Siemens PLC fault finding
and inverter drives.

Qualifications

Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.

HNC Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
