Job description
The opportunity has arrisen to join our company in the role of trainee contract manager / surveyor. We are a well established and growing decorating and maintenance contractor operating throughout the North of England based from our office in Morley, Leeds.
We are looking to recruit an individual with management potential to learn the various management roles within our business.
Very quickly you would be tasked with the day to day running of an existing maintenance and repair contract as a primary responsibility - this would involve liaising with customers, our client and our operatives to effectively plan and supervise repair works from start to completion.
The ideal candidate would also be required to work alongside our Quantity Surveyor to measure and assess larger contract works to gain an understanding of pricing and job management with the long-term opportunity for the right candidate to gain qualifications in this area.
A suitable candidate would likely have:
- Good academic qualifications to A-level standard particularly in Maths and English.
- Good people skills and the ability to be sales driven
- A willingness to learn new skills across the business
- Good organisational skills and an ability to manage people and resources
- A strong work ethic with the ability to carry out any administration duties required to 'get the job done'
- Good computer skills
- Full driving licence
Candidates are not required to have experience in this type of role or sector only to be keen and willing to learn.

Working hours are 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday at our office in Morley, Leeds (LS27)
