Job description

Green London Cars is an environmentally conscious London-based company, which offers corporate transportation, chauffeur and private hire in the United Kingdom. We use low emission vehicles in our fleet to minimise environmental impact. Our fleet consists of Mercedes or Toyota Prius Hybrids. We constantly look for innovations which are appropriate for the private hire industry and offset 200% of all vehicle emissions.

Role summary

Working as part of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of a B2B strategy and maintaining relationships with customers. On a day to day basis, your job is focused on marketing our brands to current and potential customers, contacting and liaising with concierges and harnessing new business.

This is a varied role, which will see you utilising your skills across a range of different projects. You will also be involved in the design and setup of our trade exhibition displays and in attending trade exhibitions.

Job Role

manage the communication of the organization with clients via means like emails, telephones, and websites
respond to inquiries made by clients about company products and services in a timely and friendly manner
act as a link between the organization and the clients to ensure clients take more interest in services rendered by the business organization
identify and communicate with new business leads for the organization
ensuring existing corporate customers are making regular bookings and maintaining communication
identifying and developing brand collaboration opportunities
following up on potential customers' inquiries
collaborating as part of a team to create social media content
providing progress reports on key accounts

Desired profile

Requirements/Experience

business development, account management or sales experience in private hire industry and sustainable transportation
excellent organisational skills
basic computer literacy including MS Office, etc.
excellent communication skills
you will have a good level of spoken and written English
you should be a ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; this is especially important for creating a rapport with clients and with your colleagues
you should be able to demonstrate a calm and collected manner, remaining professional and composed under pressure; dealing with international clients can often throw up a myriad of challenges so you will need to be able to confront issues head on
ability to use a CRM system
experience maintaining social media channels
an experience of attending trade exhibitions
