The opportunity:

The Processing & Cure Technology team in the Global Material Development Department seeks a  highly motivated associateand hands on associateto contribute to applied and fundamental cure and processing technology projects. The associate will be responsible for improving process and product performance by identifying opportunities for cure and processing optimization. The successful candidate will be high energy and naturally inquisitive.

 

Lead and contribute to projects to improve existing compound mixing, processing and curing processes and evaluate the potential of technologies new to Goodyear and emerging technologies to enhance product performance and consistency and process efficiency

 

To join our team you will need:

 

Education:

Masters degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or related subjects or equivalent experience

Languages:

•English    

•German or French are considered an asset

 

Experience:

•Industrial experience is an asset

•Basic compounding knowledge

 

Skills & Qualifications:

•Familiarity with thermodynamic processes is preferred
•Proficiency in the analysis of experimental data is required
•Fundamentalsin DOEs and statisticalevaluation
•Stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams is required
•Strongcommunication and technical documentation skills are required
