The opportunity:
•Provide daily NVH test engineering support to Lab and Road Tire testing operations
•Liaise with Tire Vehicle Mechanics department, act as contact window for NVH tests, support TVM in development of new approaches/methods to assess tire/vehicle NVH performance
•Develop and provide technical NVH training to LTT/RTT operations and TVM
•Maintain/develop adequate level of NVH data acquisition and post-processing systems for objective NVH testing in LTT/RTT, including automation of standard NVH tests
•Assure quality monitoring of standard NVH tests, incl ref. tire monitoring, correlation and test variation assessments
•Support IT items related to NVH data acquisition and processing
To join our team you will need:
Education:
The candidate must have successfully completed an Engineering Degree (Bac +5) in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Languages:
Fluency in English (oral and written).
Additional European language will be considered as an asset
Experience:
•Experience in NVH objective testing is mandatory
•Experience and interest in automotive testing environment
Skills & Qualifications:
•Profound knowledge in NVH data acquisition, signal processing and analysis, Frequency Response Functions
•Knowledge of NVH software (B&K Pulse, Head Acoustics Artemis, other)
•Data acquisition systems and processing software
•Programing language (Visual Basic, Matlab, Excel macros)
•MS Office
•IT knowledge (PC configuration)
•Able to work independently as well as in a team, flexible, self-motivated
•Strong interest in the automotive world, testing activities.
•Show initiative, excellent communication, organizational skills.
