We are looking for a self-motivated, goal oriented Associate who is a full-stack developer to join our expanding team. Working collaboratively and aligning with cross-divisional teams, critical thinking is required to manage technical dependencies/relationships to drive deliverables.

Our applications are built with our thousands of internal and external end users and interdependent systems in mind. You must have a good sense large interconnected environments and of user interaction and usability design.

Fault tolerance is a critical aspect of our business. You will design, develop, test against disaster scenarios, and maintain sets of applications built with the latest back and front end technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the application on a global scale
- Design, develop and maintain PaaS, large interconnected set of web services
- Architect highly available distributed systems
- Design simple user experience and generate supporting user documentation
- Write specifications and drive design meetings with various stakeholders for consensus
- 80-90% hands on coding
- Work with several teams and manage technical dependencies

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology or a related discipline
- Prior experience of working with technology gained from a global investment bank
- Full stack software engineering experience
- Proven Java development experience
- Programming Languages: Javascript,  HTML5, CSS, Scala
- Experience with MongoDB, CouchDb, Redis, or any popular object store
- Experience of NoSQL databases
- Prior experience of working in a multi-technology platform
- Knowledge of software development and operations life cycle
- Experience building highly available web applications using modern technology stack
- Understanding of agile and test-driven development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be an effective team player as well as be able work independently
