The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading the delivery of web application platforms using his/her knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework/methodologies.

The candidate will get to work with modern technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, RESTful web services, JavaScript libraries (e.g. React , JQuery) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, Backbone), and utilize them to build cutting edge software that will include advance visualizations of data.
They should also demonstrate knowledge and interest in the mobile ecosystem (both web and native paradigms).

They should be comfortable working with Agile processes, with an emphasis on writing good quality, easily testable code. They should also be able to collaborate and contribute estimates to the planning process.

Clear verbal and written communication skills will be crucial since the candidate must be able to gather requirements as well as influence and gain consensus for their designs with the global technology team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor in Software Engineer, Computer Science, or the equivalent in demonstrable work experience
• 3-8 years of front end web development experience
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular, Backbone, React, jQuery)
• Ability to use git in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large JS applications
• An appreciation of component-based UI
• Knows the strengths and weaknesses of VanillaJS
• Comfortable with *nix command line
• Active on CodePen, Github, or StackOverflow
• An appreciation of design
