Banking Technology creates and maintains proprietary technology for the Investment Banking division.  The applications we deliver support all aspects of advisory deal origination and execution. This includes client targeting, ideas generation, relationship management, pitching, market analytics, deal execution, book building, fund management and revenue reporting.

We are seeking a Developer for the CIM team in London. The successful candidate will be working as part of a global team responsible for
- Banking Client Relationship Management (CRM) program which is used by 2000 bankers globally and
- Deal marketing and Document management solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency and productivity of bankers.

These proprietary applications consist of a number of components which touch a number of different leading-edge technologies:
- iOS app in Objective-C
- Outlook add-in using VSTO and WPF
- Web-based portal applications using AngularJS and ExtJS
- Applications to manage deal related workflows and archival of deal documents (Deal Center, Deal Archival, FG Market Commentary etc.)
- Blackberry app using Java
- Middle-tier web-services in C# and Java
- Back-end SQL Server database
- Reports are delivered in Business Objects over a data warehouse
- GS Office application tools to complement the suite of automation tools in MS Office
- Applications to build / automate financial models (Active Docs, Strats Tools)
- Tools to enhance productivity in the storage, generation and styling of deal documents (PAM, SharePoint etc.)

The individual in this role would be responsible for the following functions:
- Design and develop tools to automate the creation and styling of pitchbook and deal execution documents
- Enhance CRM functionality on existing applications, specifically leveraging AngularJS and Java

The role requires collaboration with the other technology teams, both from a development as well as a maintenance perspective. The candidate will work through the software development lifecycle on a range of projects mentioned above using various technologies including Java, C#, AngularJS, VSTO, WPF, SQL etc.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years relevant technical experience including as a developer having a successful track-record of delivering applications and exposure to the software development lifecycle
- Experience in AngularJS and Java
- Experience with SQL Server and database development
- Object-oriented analysis and design skills. Ability to use these methods in understanding business requirements and build sound solutions
- Experience in test driven development

Preferred Qualifications

• VSTO development experience
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Banking industry experience
• Experience with automated testing
