The Special Assets Group (SAG) is looking for an investment professional role to focus on corporate credit. The analyst role is SAG is ideal for someone who wants to learn investment skills and enjoys working in a demanding and fast-paced market-oriented environment.
OUR IMPACT
The Special Asset Group (SAG) resides within the Securities Division (FICC-Credit Trading) of Goldman Sachs and invests in corporate debt, across sectors, spanning Investment Grade, High Yield and Distressed Credit. The London SAG team consists of a Portfolio Manager, Credit Analysts and Quantitative Analysts. The analyst role focuses on investment analysis and portfolio management.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
• Analyse corporate credits across the capital structure and develop investment recommendations alongside the Portfolio Manager
• Portfolio management including review of industry sectors, concentrated positions, correlations, risk metrics
• Execution of cash and derivative trades
Develop relationships with external sales & trading counterparties

Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Experience in Investment Banking (Leveraged Finance, M&A), Buyside Credit Investing, Fixed Income / Credit trading, Trading, Asset Management, Consulting, or Investment Research
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail
