Job Summary & Responsibilities

The distressed and high yield trading desks make markets in the bonds and credit derivatives of companies that are below investment grade credit quality. Our largest customers include high yield mutual funds and distressed hedge funds. In order to effectively trade credit, traders have to be able to work with research to analyze credit fundamentals for these companies in order to properly value the riskiness of their bonds, and the likelihood that they will be able to continue operating and paying off their debt. Credit traders rely heavily on analytical skills to price and manage risk. Our business features a very high level of client interaction during work, as well as getting to know clients outside of work on a personal level in order to build strong relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• No Experience necessary
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Strong quantitative skills and interest in the global markets
