Job Summary & Responsibilities

Equity sales teams cover and manage key relationships with institutional and hedge fund clients. Sales professionals develop and pitch stock ideas, IPOs, secondary offerings, and respond to client inquiries. The desk leverages GS research product as well as arrange meetings with research analysts and management meetings with clients.  The successful candidate will need to understand their clients' needs and investment style, and understand GS research product as well as be able to generate their own investment ideas. This is an opportunity to work with a team of experienced sales individuals and gain valuable market and eventually client exposure.

Basic Qualifications:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
• Good Attention to detail
• Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
• Ability to multitask
• Hard working and strong willingness to learn
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Team Player
• Curious about macro events, industries, businesses, and markets

Preferred Qualifications:
• Commercial focus, team oriented, self-motivated
• Local knowledge of the following China A share market
• Basic knowledge and interest in finance
