Job Summary & Responsibilities

This role involves working for the Asian Credit Trading (ACT) business out of the New York office and trading Asian product during US trading hours.  The primary responsibility of the role is to price bond & CDS inquiries for US & European clients.  The ACT business trades across multiple portfolios including Asia IG, Asia HY, Australia IG, Japan IG and EM Sovereigns, so the role is very broad in scope.  Although there will be some specialization in terms of portfolio, the candidate should expect to gain exposure to all of these sectors.  This role will be to join as the second person in a two person team.

Basic Qualifications

 2-3 years sales/trading/structuring experience within the fixed income market, preferably credit markets would be highly beneficial
 Strong interest in financial markets and specifically fixed income markets
 Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure
 An understanding of pricing risk & liquidity in varying market conditions
 Work well as a member of a team as this role will require a significant amount of liaison with our Asia based traders
 Proven track record of being able to generate trade ideas and competently articulate those views
