Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Procurement and Vendor Management (PVM) team is responsible for enabling the firm to actively and effectively manage its vendor population and associated risks while driving commercial value through the development and execution of supply category strategies
The candidate will be a team member / analyst within the PVM Centre of Excellence (CoE) team in Bangalore. The Analyst position will report to the PVM CoE Associate in Bangalore.

Corporate Services and Real Estate :
Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) acquires, develops and manages the firm’s global real estate
portfolio and delivers innovative and commercially managed market development, document management and hospitality related services.
CSRE’s areas of responsibility are Real Estate, Business Services, Finance and Administration & Communications.
• Business Services delivers high-quality, commercially managed services to internal partners
throughout the firm.
• Real Estate plans, builds and operates the firm's facilities worldwide, and is critical to ensuring that our core businesses operate efficiently 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Finance, comprised of regionally based teams and a central hub in Bangalore, India, provides financial analysis, decision support, procurement and vendor management, contract administration and reporting for all initiatives within the Services Division and for business partners across the firm
• Administration and Communications oversee organizational development and internal and client communications

Principal Responsibilities :

• Develop strong working knowledge of the technology supporting the procurement, vendor management and contract management processes to provide advice and ensure compliance on the optimized use of the system
•  Provide support and training to end users of PVM systems such as Ariba, Vendor Management Portal (VMP), Risk Management Tool and Order Management (OMD Coordinate with Technology and Business teams to translate business requirements into technical enhancements on the system such as OMD, Ariba and VMP
•  Partner with global PVM team and technical support teams to test new solutions or enhancements to existing applications that form the procurement and vendor management toolset
•  Support vendor management activities performed by regional VM teams and divisions within India
• Meet defined service levels for all PVM CoE team activities
•  Support transition of activities into the PVM CoE team from the global PVM team
• Support continual process improvements, industrialisation initiatives and data management initiatives to maintain data quality

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in sourcing, supply chain management, contract administration, vendor management and operational risk management
• Experience of supporting systems with strong Excel skills, supply information management application expertise is an added advantage
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to develop models to analyse complex business issues
• A high degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity
• A team-oriented person who is able to work with and complement other individuals in working toward and accomplishing a common set of goals
• Strong interpersonal skills and sophistication to liaise with internal clients
• Ability to handle conflicting priorities and multiple deadlines
• Ability to easily adapt to a dynamic and changing organization
