Job Summary & Responsibilities

Handle issuance activity for PIPG public distribution portfolios. Create products based on market share analysis, trader and sales input.

— Work on document generation solutions to create documents templates in relation to the issuance of said products.
— Be responsible for product portfolio maintenance and own the cost side of this business.
— Playing key roles in global initiatives including automation projects
— Work on general data mining requests and assist with power-point presentations and other documentation activities

Basic Qualifications

The Private Investors Product Group is part of the Securities Division and focuses on the creation, market making, distribution and trading of securitized & OTC derivatives and structured funds. Its main client bases are private banks, retail banks, online brokers and other distributors that provide structured solutions to high net worth or retail investors. PIPG offers warrants, certificates and notes in Switzerland, Germany and other European markets but as well in Hong Kong, South Korea, India, Japan and Singapore. PIPG covers several underlying asset classes including equities, currencies, commodities and rates.

PIPG was founded in 2006 and traces its roots as the ‘warrants business’ back the early 1990s in both Switzerland and Germany, but now covers markets in Asia/Pacific, EMEA and the Americas.

PIPG has dedicated trading, sales, marketing, technology, strategies, structuring and operations teams.
The structuring team has to work with all other groups and develop and maintain issuance programs and products for PIPG. The group has primary responsibility for the creation of mass issued public distribution portfolios as well as tailor made securities issued in response to a client lead order.

Experience / Skills
— B. Eng. or B.Sc. and potentially MBA (Finance)
— Hands-on approach and engineering mindset. Strong desire required to solve technical or quantitative problems
— Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Industry (preferably an Investment Bank or consulting) in a quantitative or technical analysis function
— Good understanding of securities business and products in particular with exotic derivatives (at least with major knowledge in one asset class)
