Are you looking to apply your quantitative skills while deepening your understanding of Listed Derivative products? Our Seoul Listed Derivatives Middle Office is seeking a professional who is looking to collaborate with Business and various other teams to manage operational process and control associated with listed derivative transactions.

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.
The Derivatives and Clearing Operation teams work extensively with Business, Clients and various teams in Federation to support the Firm’s business. The individual team responsibilities range from managing the operational risk, monitoring exceptions and ensuring integrity of booking and records. The candidate will have opportunities to learn about the underlying products executed and supported, as well as working on new business and market initiatives and participate in global projects.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
• Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational process lifecycle of Listed Derivatives by interacting with traders and clients, in addition to, legal, compliance, and other federation teams in order to work toward the shared goal of risk mitigation.
• Partner with a team of product experts to review all operational process aspects of Listed Derivative trades while gaining strong technical knowledge, risk control and commercial awareness.
• Use your inquisitive mind set to identify efficiency opportunities with respect to process flow methodology as well as enhance scalability
• Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose complex regulatory and operational process requirement, and propose creative, robust solutions.
• Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of overall operational workflow for Listed Derivatives and work with our business partners to progress our support capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
• Business/native level Korean language skills
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two to three years of experience in Korea financial services.
• Experience and knowledge of Korea Listed Derivatives market
• Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience.
• Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Quantitative educational background.
