YOUR IMPACT
Provide research support, be able to contribute to analysis that differentiates our advice, develop our knowledge management structures and practices and develop desktop tools using 3rd party and GS proprietary databases (SecDB) to improve banker efficiencies.

Knowledge Management Team
Investment Banking heavily relies on fundamental and market knowledge as well as industry expertise to provide the best advice to its clients. Knowledge Managers are accountable for providing that content and expertise. The successful candidate will come on board as a Knowledge Management analyst or associate, depending on prior work experience.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Role Responsibilities
• Researching and critically analysing market information, industry data and trends
• Contribute in the creation of pitches to clients. Provide valuable insight on significant market/industry events within the TMT/Industrials space
• Continue to develop and improve the process and practice of knowledge and content management within TMT/Industrials
• In partnership with the Global KM team, build and maintain standard industry pages, models and analytics pertinent to the sub-sectors covered within TMT/Industrials
• Contribute to new business targeting and help manage the screening and targeting efforts in partnership with sector captains
• Contribute to the development of KM and Corporate Finance analysis tools to improve the efficiency of junior bankers
• Provide guidance for bankers in accessing, compiling, manipulating, and downloading data from databases available on banker desktops
• In partnership with Compliance and Banking Technology, be able to understand and explain copyright and data usage issues
SKILLS & EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with excellent academic credentials
• Previous Knowledge Management work, or experience in Equity Research or Consulting preferred
• Experience working in client-facing situations
• Experience working with and managing vendor relationships
• Experience with Project Management
• Experience with TMT products (IDC, Gartner, Screen Digest etc.) preferred
