BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Division comprises of centrally and divisionally aligned teams who specialise in addressing the needs of particular client groups. HCM is made up of several functions including Business Partners and Centres of Expertise. Business Partners (BPs) are responsible for partnering with divisional leadership on all key global HCM and divisional people initiatives and strategic priorities. HCM Centres of Expertise, such as Employee Relations; Leadership and Diversity; Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University; Talent Acquisition; Reward and the Talent Assessment Group, partner with BPs to provide advisory services to employees and divisional management.

The Talent Acquisition team identifies, attracts, and recruits undergraduates and experienced professionals to the firm. The team also manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high calibre, diverse and robust candidate pipeline for both campus and experienced hire recruiting. This role will involve working closely with the revenue divisions to deliver their campus recruiting efforts and will report into the Revenue Talent Acquisition Leads

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project manage and attend divisional specific campus events (e.g. information sessions, workshops, case studies, presentations etc.) and interview days
• End to end project management of key recruitment pipelines (e.g. Summer Interns, Spring Interns, Off Cycles, Work Placements, New Analysts and Associates)
• Manage planning and execution of internship programmes to ensure an excellent experience for the interns and the future resourcing needs of the business are met
• Partner with the business on headcount and business planning
• Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
• Build relationships with key recruiting contacts within the business (e.g. Team Captains) and partner with them on recruiting strategy/ business plans
• Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
• Manage interview and offer process for candidates applying for aligned division. Ensuring a consistent,  structured process and that interviewers are suitably trained to perform their role.
• Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
• Ensure strategic focus on diversity recruiting efforts
• Work with team members from the cross-divisional recruiting team on projects such as summer intern programming and campus competitions
• Produce metrics reports analysing key recruitment metrics and KPIs
• Acquire expertise in global recruiting technology platforms      

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Functional expertise: minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Partnering with clients and colleagues: solid communication and relationship management skills; client facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
• Strong analytical skills.  Critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns      

PREFERRED

• Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
• Strong Project Management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis
• Commercial awareness: ability to maximise ROI from efforts on campus and maintain focus on annual recruiting priorities.
• Strong team player: ability to work effectively in teams a must  
• Broad knowledge of the financial services industry; knowledge of campus recruiting a plus
• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
• Occasional travel during campus marketing season required
