BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The Human Capital Management (HCM) Division comprises of divisionally aligned business partner teams and centers of excellence who advise and support the recruitment, retention and development of the firm's people. The divisionally aligned business partners support specific divisions on their strategic people needs across the organization, with significant connectivity to global business partner teams. The centers of excellence include groups such as Employee Relations who act as the internal consulting group to all levels of employees and management; the Office of Global Leadership and Diversity who help drive the firms commitment to attracting and retaining the best and most diverse talent at all levels; Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University who are committed to helping our people progress through learning and development interventions; Recruiting who seek to attract and hire graduate and experienced talent to the firm; Reward who manage the compensation and benefits for employees; Talent Assessment Group who manages the planning, development and talent management processes; Strategy and Management which provides HCM related services and counsel for HCM and Finance who assist in the operation of the division.
This person will provide HCM related services and support to the IMD global HCM Business Partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• IMD HCM junior business partner
• Support the IMD HCM business partners to deliver all HCM related services to the business and tailor projects to fit their needs
• Support the IMD BPs in advising clients on talent management strategy and individuals' development needs
• Support the IMD BPs in managing people processes such as headcount, compensation, performance reviews, mobility, immigration reviews etc…
• Help execute people development processes where needed including leadership pipeline, talent management, promotions, performance management, diversity, people survey, reporting and analytics on people related metrics and trends, year- end compensation and organizational reviews
• Liaise with Business Partner Solutions teams on any reporting / people related processes
Reporting / Analytics / Data Management
• Engage with relocation / GMS / migration related activity
• Manage workflow in HRWW related to transfers, termination, flexible work arrangements, tuition reimbursements
• Support the IMD BPs in various year-end processes (e.g., reporting, data audit, communication, compensation, system maintenance / support, etc)
• Work with other divisionally aligned HCM colleagues to provide seamless service to clients
• Participate in global projects and talent management strategy as necessary
• Divisional ad hoc project work
Basic Qualifications
MANDATORY
• Preferably 1 year of HR experience in the financial industry with at least knowledge in one or more of the centres of excellence areas or business partner space
• Analytical mindset and technical skillset: Excellent quantitative skills, data analysis, and problem solving skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
• Highly organized: Attention to detail and excellent follow-through and delivery required

• Interpersonal Skills: Develops strong relationships quickly with professionals across HCM groups and acts as an effective liaison to meet client needs
• Communication: Communicates both orally and in writing in a precise, articulate manner and with persuasive effect
• Project Management: Thinks multiple steps ahead; prepares for potential problems and escalates issues when appropriate; and juggles competing deadlines effectively
• Problem Solving: Demonstrates strong analytical skills and has the ability to perform detailed analysis of basic and moderately complex problems and think creatively and flexibly to find a resolution. Anticipates the impact of emerging trends/patterns on issues
